Solid · Density 50

Cinder is Lava you can put on a belt.

Cinder turns an awkward liquid into a routeable solid. It is the documented bridge between a deep Lava source and a factory that needs heat somewhere else.

Working route

Use the constraint
as the design.

  1. 01 · Freeze the source

Snow freezes Lava into Scoria. The official Lava route treats this as the first step in making the material transportable.

  2. 02 · Break the Scoria

Excavate the solid Scoria to obtain Cinder.

  3. 03 · Move a solid

Cinder can travel by Grabber, Conveyor Belt, or Launcher, giving a Lava route ordinary solid logistics.

  4. 04 · Apply direct fire

A Flamethrower's direct flame returns Cinder to Lava at the worksite. Keep the ignition area contained before restoring the liquid.

Evidence notes

Confirmed first.
Tested second.

Official Wiki

  • Cinder is a solid with density 50; the official page marks it as flammable, not wettable, and Launcher-compatible.
  • The official Lava route is Lava + Snow to Scoria, then excavation to Cinder.
  • The official Cinder page specifies direct Flamethrower fire for turning Cinder back into Lava; passive heat is not presented as an equivalent route.
