Sourcing & Verification

Design Intent & Problem Solved

A compact steam-generation module powered by lava evaporation. Lava is fed in on the left — logistics blocks automatically open the gate when lava runs low, keeping a steady supply. Water is fed in at the center and evaporates on contact with the lava; once enough steam builds up, it blocks the outlet of the central valve, automatically shutting off the water supply. The steam then drives a piston mechanism to generate power. Modules stack vertically with no rework needed — just clone the section as many times as you need and connect the shared power bus.

Safe Placement & Cold-Start Checklist

  1. Place the module in open space with 2-block perimeter clearance before connecting production lines.
  2. Confirm research prerequisites, conveyor speed match, and liquid drop-pipe heights.
  3. Leave an inspection gap so any blocked Shaker or mineral slurry overflow can be drained safely.
  4. Verify power grid capacity satisfies the initial startup spike before feeding raw ore.
