8bit Adjustable Timer

Enabled the output for the set amount of time then turns off.

Sourcing & Verification

Blueprint string reproduced byte-for-byte from community submission #20 on sandustryvault.com and published verbatim. We have not re-tested it in our own save. Footprint, power draw and throughput are not published by the source, so we do not state them.

Design Intent & Problem Solved

Enabled the output for the set amount of time then turns off. Time is programmed in binary using the switches at the top, and is in increments of 2 due to the internal clock. The button directly to the right of the clock will reset it to 0 and stop the timer. The button further right is an example input to start the timer.

Safe Placement & Cold-Start Checklist

  1. Place the module in open space with 2-block perimeter clearance before connecting production lines.
  2. Confirm research prerequisites, conveyor speed match, and liquid drop-pipe heights.
  3. Leave an inspection gap so any blocked Shaker or mineral slurry overflow can be drained safely.
  4. Verify power grid capacity satisfies the initial startup spike before feeding raw ore.

⚠️ Known Failure Modes & Anti-Clog Safeguards
